PARTS OF MOTHERBOARD OR WHAT IS MOTHERBOARD ?? AND EVERTHING ABOUT MOTHERBOARD

WHAT IS MOTHERBOARD(MOBO) ????
Motherboard is a main and important unit of computer without motherboard computer cannot be a computer with the remaining parts. Also we can call it mother of computer situated in brain of computer i.e CPU every computer has a motherboard whatever the device maybe it has motherboard

Components Of Motherboard

lets start from PCI slots

PCI slots :- it is a PCI express 16x slot of 32 bit this is a slot where todays graphics  card are placed of Nvidia or ATI raiden's its a important slot for gamers 

PCIe/AGP slot :- quiet old slot but not seen that much in today's motherboard this was a slot where old graphics card where placed but not now computer today having this slot may be acommpained by sound card or some other

CPU Socket :- this is where the processor is been atached only two company provides processor for customized pc those are Intel and AMD

IDE/ATA Bus :- The Advance Technology Attachment (ATA) interface is used to connect hard drives and optic drives. You can attach 2 drives on the same ribbon, 1 master and the other slave, and it supports almost all modern hard drives storage capacities.

the main component is to attach sata hard disk

S-ATA Buses:- Modern computer mother boards have the new interface called Serial Advance Technology Attachment (S-ATA). It is faster than the ATA and only 1 device can be attached to it. The wire is thinner than his predecessor and surely help at the cooling process inside the computer case.

Floppy connector :- this slot is not seen in todays mobo it was used to connect floppy drive floppy was a disk which use to store abt of 1-5 mb of data its already disappeared

Memory Slots:- One of the important component of motherboard that is Memory slot at this slot RAM (Random Acess Memory ) card are attatched every computer has this without any ram or this slot computer cannot start

Main Power connector:- this is the component from which the cpu gets its power you can call it power house of motherboard

The main power connector is uses to get the electric energy from the power supply which the motherboard require to function properly.

There are 2 main power connector types for those motherboard parts. The 20 pins + 4 pins (2 separate connectors on the same motherboard), and the 24 pins.

Not all power supplies have the 2 types, but it is possible to work around the problem if you run into an incompatibility situation. Which will be discussed in a future power supply guide about how to install it and where to plug the connectors. 

Back panel :- last slot of motherboard you can see this at the back of your cpu cabinet

Components of back panel:-

PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse Connector :- this is a slot where wire of keyboard and mouse are connected in blue colour slot keyboard is connected while in green slot mouse is connected no wireless mouse and keybord connected here

USB port :- Universal Serial Bus (USB) port the very important and rocking port these days we use lot of portable devices like mobile, pen drive , portable hard disk etc all these are connected here it has a lot of future

Serial Communication Port:- used to trasmitt the data from computer to device

Parallel port and VGA port :- here monitor wire is attached

Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet LAN Port :- this is the slot where your internet service provider's(ISP's) PPOE wire gets connected

Microphone jack and Line jack :- here is where speakers and headphones get connected
